Terms of Service

1. The deal

Pixelplots is operated by Aetheron AB (“we”, “us”). A “tile” is a rectangular block of cells on the 200×200 Pixelplots grid. When you claim a tile, you pay a one-time fee and we host an image of your choosing at that coordinate, linked to a destination URL of your choosing, for as long as Aetheron AB exists and the tile complies with these terms.

2. Payment

Prices are shown in euros (EUR), inclusive of any applicable VAT. We accept payment via Stripe (cards) or NOWPayments (ETH, USDC, USDT, DAI). Your tile goes live immediately upon successful payment.

3. Waiver of withdrawal right (digital goods)

Because your tile is a digital good delivered immediately on payment, you must check the waiver checkbox confirming that you understand the tile goes live at once and that you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Art. 16(m)). Without that confirmation, we cannot deliver the tile and will not charge you.

4. Content restrictions

You must not upload, link to, or use a tile to advertise:

  • Child sexual abuse material or any other illegal content.
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights (logos, brand assets, copyrighted artwork).
  • Incitement of hatred or violence against any group defined by race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
  • Phishing, malware, or fraudulent destinations.
  • Material that violates Swedish or applicable EU law.

5. Moderation

We may remove or replace any tile that violates these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. If we remove your tile for cause, you are not entitled to a refund. If we remove your tile in error, we'll restore it and either credit your account or refund the original purchase.

6. Termination

We may terminate your account and remove all your tiles if you breach these terms in a serious or repeated way. You may delete your account at any time; see the privacy policy for how that affects your tiles.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Pixelplots is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
